Navigate the treacherous Part 68 in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. This guide covers reviving plants, solving puzzles, defeating enemies, and reaching the final dungeon.
- 1From the starting point, go south and descend stairs into the dried lake.
- 2Collect the item from the chest.
- 3Head to the right side and revive the plant with Life.
- 4Go back up the stairs and head west.
- 5Go south a little from the pedestal and look left to find another plant; revive it with Life.
- 6Ignore the key puzzle for now and go south, then west all the way.
- 7Defeat the large group of enemies.
- 8Go west to the end and revive the plant there.
- 9Use the switch to obtain a key and place it in the nearest pedestal.
- 10Hug the left wall as you go north to find another flower; revive it.
- 11You have now revived all six flowers.
- 12Step on the nearby switch to get the final key and place it in the pedestal.
- 13Proceed through the opened path and defeat the boss to obtain a Myrrh drop. This action will fill the Jegon River.
Optional: The Black Night's Ending
If you wish to see the conclusion of the Black Night's story, collect a sixteenth Myrrh drop. This will trigger the Black Knight's ending, which is described as extremely sad.
The Abyss
To enter The Abyss, go to Rebena Plains and enter the Miasma Stream. You must have the Holy Element to pass through. You will encounter a strange creature, a Carbuncle, which you should follow into The Abyss, the source of all miasma and home to the beast Raem.
Mag Mell
Mag Mell is the only "town" within The Abyss. It contains many cocoons, some with Carbuncles, and a Moogle Nest. To find the Moogle, head west from the start, then east, and walk behind the large cocoon until the examine icon appears. Collect your stamp.
Return to the town's start, go north, then northwest. You will find the talking Carbuncle. It will initially pretend to sleep. Visiting it annually for five consecutive years will reveal its full dialogue.
