Guide to Part 72 of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, detailing the confrontation with Raem, memory-based challenges, and boss encounters.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering the area, a glowing ball will appear, revealing the shape of a woman. She will speak of Raem and mention Leon and Hurdy.
- 2After gaining control, speak to the woman again. She will release two Red Minions. Defeat them using magic, Thunder is recommended.
- 3Speak to the woman again to be warped to another location. Speak to her once more to hear her explanation about Raem and memories.
- 4She will then reveal the door of recollection and insert the key of remembrance. You will be asked a question based on your diary entries. Answer correctly to proceed. An incorrect answer will result in losing memories and Minions appearing.
- 5After defeating the Minions or answering correctly, the door will open. Go through it.
- 6The woman will speak about Leon and Hurdy and then ask another question based on your Crystal Chronicles. Answer correctly to pass through the door; incorrect answers lead to fighting Minions and losing memories. The game ends if memories drop below ten.
- 7Head through the door, and the woman will make another door appear. She will explain Raem's origin from a meteor cataclysm and his consumption of memories.
- 8Answer the next question. If all three previous questions were answered incorrectly, a Monstrous Minion (120 HP, vulnerable to magic) will appear.
- 9Approach the door again. The woman reveals herself as Mio, the Queen of Reflection, and explains her role in consuming memories.
- 10Go through the door. She will explain that Miasma arises from the meteor parasite deep inside Mount Vellenge, on which Raem depends.
Tips
- It is highly recommended to have a high number of memories (80+).
- Re-reading your diary throughout the game is crucial for answering the memory-based questions correctly.
- Magic, particularly Thunder, is effective against the Red Minions.
- The Monstrous Minion is a difficult boss; avoid getting three questions wrong to prevent facing it.
