Part 119

Complete walkthrough for Part 119 of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, covering missions from The Mendez Brothers and Lance Vance, including rewards and strategies.

Mission: The Mendez Brothers - Burning Bridges

Overview: The Mendez brothers want Vic and Lance to leave town and give them control of their interests. When they refuse, The Mendez's decide to have them killed. Vic and Lance wake up at the Fuel Depot, but gunmen show up. When the gunmen shoot at the Vance brothers, they ignite pipes and kill themselves. Lance is trapped behind flames, and Vic must rescue him.

Weapons: SMG, M249.

The Plan: There is a Pressure Meter that fills over time. You need to shoot three valves (green dots on the radar) to turn off the fuel before the place explodes. You start with no weapons, but they are located against a wall and around a corner. Quickly retrieve your weapons and head to the pink circle. Use your M249 or SMG to kill any gunmen. A helicopter with two gunmen will shoot at you as you try to turn off the fuel; keep moving and focus on the other gunmen and valves. Some gunmen use Sniper Rifles; run up and kill them. After shooting the last valve, jump on a PCJ-600, get Lance, and leave before the Pressure Meter fills up. This starts a war with The Mendez Brothers.

After this mission, there will be no more missions from The Mendez Brothers, but Lance's missions will re-open.

Mission: Lance Vance - Blitzkrieg Strikes Again

Overview: The Mendez's are planning to hit your businesses again, so Lance requests the help of Umberto Robina and Phil Cassidy. You need to have seven businesses before starting this mission.

Weapons: M249, Mini-Gun.

The Plan: The Mendez's will hit three of your businesses. You have eight minutes to defend them. Go to the closest business and use the M249 or Mini-Gun to quickly eliminate the goons, who will be on foot and in cars. Protect Lance. Repeat this process for the second and third businesses. The mission is completed successfully after defending the third business.

Mission: Lance Vance - Lost and Found

Overview: Lance informs Vic that Martinez is still threatening Louise. Vic decides to get her out of the hospital before Martinez visits her again.

The Plan: Head to Schuman Healthcare Center. Lance is trapped in a burning building and needs help. Louise suggests using the helicopter on the roof. Go to the hospital roof, enter the helicopter, and fly out to Lance in Vice Point.
