Alright, let's talk about those handy icons you'll be seeing all over Vice City. These aren't just for decoration; they'll help you stay alive, stay armored up, and even help you ditch the cops. Plus, we'll cover where to grab some useful weapons.

Here's the lowdown on the icons:

• Health: This heart icon is your best friend for healing. Grab it to restore your health to its max. You can even boost that maximum by acing the Air Rescue side-mission.
• Body Armor: Like a shield, this icon tops off your armor. Completing the Vigilante Mission is how you increase your max armor. You'll be able to buy body armor from the Downtown Ammu-Nation after the 'Soldier' mission, and from North Point Mall and Ocean Beach Ammu-Nations after 'From Zero to Hero'. It starts at $240, but if you complete Phil's Shooting Range, it'll drop to a sweet $180.
• Police Bribe: These stars are your ticket to freedom when the heat is on. Picking one up drops your Wanted Rating by a star. It's super smart to know where these are before you start a mission so you can make a quick getaway.

Downtown Weapons

Micro-SMG

You'll find this on the roof of a building just northeast of the Hyman Memorial Stadium. To get there, head north from the four-way intersection near the northeast corner of The Mendez Building. When the road curves east, veer northwest into an enclosed area. Look for stairs in a corner – they lead up to the roof where the weapon is, with a Rampage nearby.

Check under the stairs on the south side of Hyman Memorial Stadium.

Brass Knuckles

These are hidden in a narrow alley. Go to the three-way intersection at the northeast corner of The Hyman Condo. Head south and follow the road as it curves east. Just past the first lightpost you see on your right, stop at the *next* one. The entrance to the alley is right before it. Turn in to find the knuckles.
