A comprehensive guide to Part 12 of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, covering the Hunter helicopter, game controls, and main screen elements.
Part 12 of the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories guide focuses on the Hunter helicopter, its capabilities, and differences from its GTA: Vice City counterpart. It also details the game's main screen interface and menu options.
The Hunter Helicopter
The Hunter helicopter is introduced after completing the mission "Last Stand" and is used in the "Skywolf" checkpoint race. It's also the preferred vehicle for the Vigilante Mission due to its powerful machine gun with an incredible auto-aim system. To use the Hunter outside of the "Skywolf" race, you can push it from its spawn point with a large vehicle or cancel the race.
Differences from GTA: Vice City's Hunter:
- Machine Gun: Features an impressive auto-aim system that automatically targets enemies, even those to the side.
- Damage Indicator: Unlike other helicopters, it doesn't spin when hitting solid objects, making it harder to tell when it's taking damage.
- Durability: Significantly weaker than the Hunter in "GTA: Vice City," making it easier to destroy.
