Dig 3 tiles from your starting position to reach the central corridor. Claim the 4 empty rooms found here. Build 1 Treasure room (costs 50 Gold) and 2 Lairs (each costs 100 Gold), totaling 250 Gold. Keep all creatures except one Imp in the Mistresses' home.

From the center of your Dungeon Heart, dig in one direction (e.g., north) to find a wooden doorway. Release one Mistress and keep your Imps and the other Mistress at your Dungeon Heart to prevent them from triggering Boulder traps. Use the released Mistress to possess and break down the doorway.

In the room beyond, you will find 3 heroes of the same type (level 5). Defeat them, collect all gold from the pots, and place it in your Treasure room. You will find two doors leading in either direction. The path marked with "=" is preferred as it avoids Boulder Traps and has weaker heroes.

Work your way around the area, defeating all heroes by using the Mistresses' Lightning attack from a distance. Once you acquire the Hatchery, you can use chickens to heal your Mistress. Be cautious of Poisonous Gas traps, as your Imps cannot survive them. Use these traps to damage enemy groups in the bottom/left central room.

After defeating the weaker heroes, place your Mistresses in the Library to research. Obtain at least the Guard Post. If they are close to leveling up, let them train. Level 7 Mistresses can control Speed, doubling their effectiveness.

To expand beyond the lava pool, build bridges. There is 1 bridge tile connected to your dungeon on the west side, directly in line with your Dungeon Heart. Fortify the walls here.
