Hey there! So you're diving into Teamfight Tactics and want to know about the Keeper trait? Awesome! Let's break it down. Basically, when you have Keepers on your board, they give themselves and nearby allies a shield at the start of combat. This is super handy for keeping your squishier damage dealers alive a bit longer. The shield lasts for 8 seconds, and here's the cool part: it's 50% stronger if the unit receiving it is also a Keeper. Here's how the shield strength scales: * 2 Keepers: Grants a 175 shield. * 4 Keepers: Grants a 250 shield. * 6 Keepers: Grants a 325 shield. Keep an eye out for the 'Chosen' mechanic too! If you get a Chosen Keeper, they count as *two* Keepers and double the shield amount they provide. That can really beef up your team's defenses! Champions that are Keepers: * Set 4: Azir, Elise, Jarvan IV, Kennen, Riven * Set 4.5: Rakan, Xayah A Little History: This trait has seen a few changes. For instance, in V11.5, the shield values were adjusted slightly. Before that, in V11.2, Rakan and Xayah were added as Keepers, while Riven was removed.
