Alright, so you want to snag the 'Merciful' achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance? It sounds tough, but it's totally doable if you play smart. Basically, you need to get through the entire main story without killing a single soul, with one exception: Runt. He's the main bad guy, so he's fair game.

The easiest way to pull this off is by knocking enemies out instead of killing them. You can do this with your fists or by using a blunt weapon. Just be careful – some high-damage blunt weapons can still accidentally kill your opponents, so it's best to stick to your fists or a low-level blunt weapon. If you're in a big fight with your allies, let them get the final blow. Seriously, just let them handle it. Also, don't forget to use your speech skills whenever you can to talk your way out of fights altogether.

Want to double-check your progress? You can head over to Player > Statistics > Combat > Enemies/People Killed. Just remember, it'll show '1' if you've killed Runt, and that's okay. Any other kills will mess up your achievement run.
