Follow this guide to complete The House of God quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Uncover the truth behind the faulty stone and a mysterious skull.
Alright, so you've picked up a quest from Sir Divish in Talmberg called 'The House of God'. Turns out some dodgy stone from the Talmberg quarry might be to blame for an accident at the Sasau monastery. Your job is to head over there and figure out what's really going on.
Walkthrough
- 1First things first, head to the monastery in Sasau. Once you're there, look for the Brother Porter. He's marked on your map, so he shouldn't be too hard to find. He'll point you towards the Overseer's office.
- 2Go to the Overseer's office and have a good chat with the Overseer. Make sure you go through all the dialogue options – you don't want to miss any clues. He'll eventually suggest you talk to Master Karel, who likes to wander around the monastery grounds.
- 3Find Master Karel. He's not exactly the most forthcoming chap, but he'll give you enough info to get started. He'll mention something about the catacombs, so head that way. Right at the entrance to the catacombs, you'll spot a piece of the faulty stone on the ground. Pick it up and take a good look at it.
- 4Now that you've got the stone, your next objective is to find out where it came from. Head back to the Talmberg quarry and have a word with Rupert. He'll tell you straight up that the stone isn't from his quarry.
- 5Next, you need to talk to Leshek about a supposed 'devil's skull'. You'll find Leshek hanging out at the builder's yard.
- 6Leshek will tell you the skull is by the river. Follow your map marker down to the river and look in the shallow water, right below the path. You'll find the skull tucked away by the river bank, under some foliage.
- 7Grab the skull and take it to the knacker for identification. He'll tell you it's just a regular human skull with some antlers glued on.
- 8After that, you can try to find Leshek again to ask if he planted the skull. Head back to the builder's yard, but Leshek won't be there. Instead, you'll need to find Zmola and arrange to meet him under the scaffolding at night.
- 9Make sure you wait until at least 22:30 before heading to the scaffolding. As you approach, a cutscene will play where someone tries to drop a stone on you from above. Once that's over, climb the scaffolding and get ready for a fistfight with the mysterious figure.
- 10Beat the guy up enough, and he'll give in and spill everything. Now you get to decide his fate. If you choose to arrest him, you'll be instantly teleported to the Overseer. If you decide to handle it your own way, you'll need to go back to the Overseer's office yourself and tell him you know Zmola is guilty.
- 11The Overseer will then send guards to deal with Zmola. If you were taken to the Overseer, just go with the guards. Zmola will show up near the Miller's house when the guards arrive. Help the guards take him down – either kill him or subdue him.
- 12Finally, report back to Sir Divish in Talmberg about how the investigation wrapped up to complete the quest.
Tips
- Keep an eye on your map; it's your best friend for finding NPCs and key locations.
- Don't be afraid to explore the monastery grounds a bit – you might find some extra loot or lore.
- When dealing with Master Karel, try to be polite, even though he's not very helpful. You never know when being nice might pay off later.
- The fistfight on the scaffolding can be a bit tough if you're not used to combat. Focus on dodging and landing a few hits when you see an opening.
