The Horse That Bolted

Lost your fastest stallion? Follow this guide to track down Pie, the missing horse from Uzhitz, and return him to the stables for your reward.

Alright, so you've got a missing horse situation in Uzhitz. The head groom needs you to find their prize stallion, Pie, who's apparently bolted. First things first, head over to Vashek, the stableboy. He's the one who'll give you the lowdown and point you in the right direction to start the search.

Vashek will tell you to go to the crossroads just south of Uzhitz. Once you get there, hop off your horse. You're looking for the eastern path, and you need to search the ground for horse droppings. Yeah, I know, glamorous work, but interact with them – that's your clue to the next step.

Keep following those droppings east. You'll hit a fork in the road; take the right path. More droppings will show you the way. At the next fork, again, go right. Eventually, you'll reach another fork, and this time you'll want to head right again and go down the slope. Keep your eyes peeled for a camp down there.

When you get to the camp, there'll be a wayfarer chilling to your right. Have a chat with him. He might have seen Pie making a run for it, so ask him all about it. After you're done talking to the wayfarer, your map should highlight a general area where Pie is located. Head into that zone and make your way towards the stream. Follow the stream east, and you should find an opening in the woods where Pie is waiting, along with a charcoal-burner.

Now, this charcoal-burner thinks Pie is his. You'll need to talk to him and explain that the horse belongs to the Uzhitz stables. He's not going to be happy about it, so you've got two options: either bribe him to let Pie go, or if you're feeling feisty, you can try to win him over in a fistfight. Once you've sorted out the charcoal-burner, hop on Pie and ride him straight back to the Uzhitz stables.

After you've successfully returned Pie, go have a word with the head groom. He'll sort you out with your reward and officially wrap up the quest.
