How to Beat Jiequan

Master the Celestial Spectre Shangui boss fight in Nine Sols. Learn Shangui's attack patterns, weaknesses, and effective strategies to defeat this challenging foe and claim your rewards.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Similar to Shuigui but tougher.
• Vulnerable to Azure Sand.

Phases:

1. Shangui disappears and leaves a bomb.
2. Followed by jumping back and forth, then a two-hit slash.
3. May leap back and place a bomb or stand still.
4. May disappear and fall from above in a crimson attack.
5. Charging attack (turns green), requires jumping off him.
6. Shuriken throw (two in a row) at range.

Strategy:

• Use the Azure Sand on the left of the arena by shooting arrows to the right of it, so it doesn't break until needed.
• When Shangui disappears and leaves a bomb, be ready to jump away or attack if he stands still.
• Dodge the crimson attack from above and rush behind him for free hits.
• For his green charging attack, jump to bounce off him and get hits in, but be wary of the bomb trail.
• Parry his shuriken throws to bounce them back.
• Focus on reaction speed to counter his varied attacks.
