How to Beat Sojourner Ji

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Appearance: Similar to Shuigui
• Attacks: Larger shockwave bomb, shuriken throws, disappearing bomb, crimson attack, charging attack
• Weakness: Azure Sand (use arrow shots to the right of it)

Phases:

1. Shangui appears and uses his standard attacks.
2. Shangui uses his charging attack, leaving a trail of bombs.
3. Shangui uses his crimson attack from above.

Strategy:

• When Shangui disappears, be ready to dodge a bomb or get hits in if he stays put.
• Dodge his crimson attack and rush behind him for free hits.
• When he charges (turns green), jump and bounce off him, sticking close to avoid the bomb trail. This is a good time to apply talismans.
• Parry his shuriken throws to damage him.
• Use the Azure Sand by shooting arrows to its right, then lure Shangui into its blast radius.
• Focus on reaction time and learning his attack patterns.
