Walkthrough

From the Pavilion, head west to the Cortex Center. Use your charge attack on the guard to proceed.

After a scene in a control room, find a Root Node and head left to a gate. Send your fairy to hack a node, then ascend using ropes and grapple points. Collect a Treasure Chest on the upper right.

Head left and down. Break a rock to access the middle area. Defeat a rock monster and hack two ropes to reach a chest on the right.

Continue down the normal path, using walls and grapple points. At the bottom, head right to drop a rope for a shortcut, then drop past a grapple point to find a big chest with the Kunlun Immortal Portrait.

Enter the "Factory (Great hall)". Head left, being mindful of flame trap floors.

To the left, kill soldiers and ascend using trap floors to an upper platform. Ride a platform up to encounter Flying Blades.

To the left of the Flying Blades, past a flame trap, is a room with a giant laser. Wait for it to end, then quickly go south. Kill the archer, go left to the center, and hit the machine that protects from the laser after defeating the swordsman.

Go to the lower left for a Treasure Chest, then return (watch for a turret).

On the next cycle, head to the upper left. Kill the archer, pass the flame trap, and find a Root Node.

From the Root Node, head left to hack a chest for a Standard Component. Enter the next laser room, hit the green device to the left for protection, and grab the Treasure Chest to your lower right. Drop down to reach the "Factory (Underground)".

Open the immediate Treasure Chest for the Swift Descent Jade.

Head right to exit back to the Factory and go left to unlock a door, creating a shortcut.

Return to the underground and go left. After hopping red spikes, choose the right path down to find the "Red Tiger Elite" mini-boss. Defeat him for a Standard Component and hack the console to the right.

Head right to an area with spikes and a mechanical unit. Go down, killing enemies. At the bottom, dash to a Shield Guardian to unlock half of a hidden treasure.

Return to the middle level and go left, avoiding falling spikes. Use ropes to go left, ignoring the elevator for now. Proceed left to a Root Node.

Use the Root Node to be transported back to your mentor, who grants you the mid-air dash ability.

Use the mid-air dash to navigate the obstacle course.

Return to where the broken machine was (right and up) and air dash to get the Abandoned Mines Chip.

Continue right, killing a Ninja and staying on the upper path to find the Evacuation Notice for Miners.

From here, head right to find the "Abandoned Mines" area (note for later exploration).

Go back and down when possible, heading southeast. Enter a peculiar room and hide inside a container to reach the "Apeman Facility (Depths)".

Navigate the cave area with red spikes. At the bottom, open a chest for money and the Fusang Amulet.

Continue right, navigating a spike pit using your air dash. Hack a rope and go down. Note the gap to the left but do not go there yet. Head right to a Root Node.

From the Root Node, go up the left rope and dash left between spikes to find the Celestial Spectre: Shangui mini-boss.

Defeat Shangui to receive a Herb Catalyst and the Soul-Severing Blade.

Return to the Pavilion to buy abilities and items, give gifts, and hand over map data. Head back to the last node.

From the node, go down and right. Kill spearmen. Find a room where you can bounce upwards and hit a device to lower platforms. Lower the middle platform and ride it.

Tips

Use the charge attack to open paths and defeat certain enemies.
The fairy is essential for hacking nodes to progress.
Be aware of environmental hazards like flame traps, lasers, and spikes.
Utilize the mid-air dash ability extensively for navigation and combat.
When fighting Shangui, use the Azure Sand on the left for an advantage.
Observe Shangui's attack patterns carefully, especially his disappearing act, crimson attack, and green aura charge.
Parrying Shangui's shuriken throws can damage him.
Return to the Pavilion periodically to upgrade abilities and purchase items.
