Discover the secrets of Lake Yaochi Ruins in Nine Sols. This guide details the path, challenges, and treasures within this mysterious area, helping you progress through the game.
Walkthrough
- 1From the Pavilion, head west to the Cortex Center. Use a charge attack on the guard to proceed.
- 2After a scene in a control room, find a Root Node and proceed left to a gate. Use your fairy to hack a node, then ascend using ropes and grapple points.
- 3Fight the Yellow Hornet, then grapple upwards to the right to find a Treasure Chest.
- 4Head left and down. Look for a breakable rock to access a middle area. Defeat a rock monster and hack two ropes to reach a chest on the right.
- 5Continue down the normal path, using walls and grapple points. Drop a rope on the right for a shortcut, then drop past a grapple point to find the Kunlun Immortal Portrait in a big chest.
- 6Enter the "Factory (Great hall)" to the left. Be wary of flame trap floors (grating).
- 7To the left, kill soldiers and ascend using trap floors and a platform to reach an upper platform. Fight the Flying Blade enemy.
- 8To the left of the upper platform is a "CRAZY ROOM" with a giant laser. Wait for the laser to end, then quickly go south, kill the archer, and go left to a machine that protects from the laser. Kill the swordsman first.
- 9From the laser protection machine, go to the lower left for a Treasure Chest, then return.
- 10On the next cycle, head to the upper left. Kill the archer, pass the flame trap, and find a Root Node.
- 11Heal at the Root Node, then hack a chest to the left for a Standard Component. Enter another laser room.
- 12Head left, hit the green device to protect yourself, then get the Treasure Chest to your lower right. Drop down through the middle to reach the "Factory (Underground)".
- 13Open the immediate Treasure Chest for the Swift Descent Jade.
- 14Head right to exit back to the Factory and go left to unlock a door, creating a shortcut.
- 15Return to the underground and go left. Hop over red spikes and choose the right path down to face the "Red Tiger Elite" mini-boss.
- 16Kill the Red Tiger Elite for a Standard Component and hack the console to the right.
- 17Head right to an area with spikes and a mechanical unit. Go down, killing enemies, to the very bottom. Dash to a Shield Guardian, break it to unlock half of a hidden treasure.
- 18Return to the middle level and go left, watching for falling spikes. Use ropes to go left, ignoring the elevator for now. Go left to a Root Node.
- 19Use the Root Node to be transported back to your mentor, who grants you the mid-air dash ability.
- 20Use the mid-air dash to navigate the obstacle course.
- 21Return to the area with the broken machine (right and up) and air dash to get the Abandoned Mines Chip.
- 22Continue right, killing a Ninja, and stay on the upper path to find the Evacuation Notice for Miners.
- 23From here, head right to find the "Abandoned Mines" area (note for later).
- 24Go back and down southeast to a peculiar room where you can "hide inside a container" to enter the "Apeman Facility (Depths)".
- 25Navigate the cave area in the Apeman Facility (Depths), using your air dash to avoid red spikes. Find a chest at the bottom containing money and the Fusang Amulet.
- 26Continue right through a spike pit. Hack a rope and go down. Note the gap to the left but proceed right to a Root Node.
- 27From the Root Node, go up the left rope and dash left between spikes to find the mini-boss, Celestial Specter: Shanguai.
Tips
- Utilize the charge attack on shielded enemies.
- The mid-air dash is crucial for navigating many platforming sections and reaching hidden areas.
- Pay attention to environmental hazards like flame traps and lasers; use protective devices when available.
- The Celestial Specter Shangui fight is similar to Shuigui but tougher; utilize Azure Sand for an advantage and be prepared for randomized attacks.
- Remember to backtrack to previously inaccessible areas once new abilities like the mid-air dash are acquired.
