How to Beat Kanghui

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Similar to Shuigui but tougher.
• Vulnerable to Azure Sand (use arrow shots to the right of it to break the urn when needed).

Phases:

1. Shangui disappears and leaves a bomb.
2. Shangui performs a two-hit slashing attack.
3. Shangui leaps back and places a bomb.
4. Shangui disappears and falls from above in a crimson attack.
5. Shangui performs a charging attack with a green aura.
6. Shangui throws shurikens (two in a row).

Strategy:

• When Shangui disappears and leaves a bomb, be ready to jump away or attack if he just stands there.
• After blocking his slashing attacks, you can often go for the talisman, but be ready to dodge bombs.
• When Shangui performs the crimson attack from above, rush behind him for free hits.
• For his charging attack (green aura), jump up and bounce off him. Stick close to him as he dashes, as he leaves a trail of bombs. This is a good time to hit him and apply talismans.
• Parry his shuriken throws to bounce them back at him.
• Utilize the Azure Sand in the arena by shooting arrow shots to the right of it, breaking the urn when needed for an advantage.
• The fight boils down to reaction speed and knowing his attacks.
