    From the Pavilion, head west to the "Cortex Center" using the upper walkway. Use a charge attack on the guard to proceed.

    Head back up to the middle level and go left, avoiding falling spikes. Use ropes to go left, ignoring the elevator. Go left to a Root Node.

    From the Root Node, go up the left rope and dash left between spikes to find the Celestial Spectre Shangui mini-boss.

    Defeat Celestial Spectre Shangui to receive a Herb Catalyst and the Soul-Severing Blade.
