Alright, let's break down some of the nastier foes you'll run into in Nioh. We're talking about Onryoki and Hino-Enma here, two bosses that can really test your patience if you're not prepared. But don't worry, with a little know-how, you'll be sending them packing.

Onryoki's Attacks:

• Chain Twirl: This is a nasty one. If you stay too close to Onryoki for too long, he'll start spinning his chains around. It's super dangerous and can hit you multiple times, so don't get greedy with your attacks. Give yourself some space when you see this coming.
• One-Two Chain Slam: He'll slam one chain, then the other. You can dodge left or right pretty easily to avoid this and then counter-attack. Just stay calm and react to which arm he leads with.
• Claw Swipes: This is his basic close-up attack. He'll swipe at you twice. You can either dash under his arm if you're quick or just back away to be safe.
• Ball Throw: He'll actually pick up one of his giant iron balls and chuck it at you. Lock on to him, and just dash left or right to dodge it. Then, you can quickly move in to counter-attack while he's recovering.
• Belly Flop: He does a couple of claw swipes, then twists and does a leaping belly flop. He can adjust his jump mid-air, so be ready to dash out of the way. If you see it coming early, you can back up, wait for the flop, and then dash in for some serious punishment.
• Leaping Smash: He'll put his hands together, jump forward, and try to smash you. Dodging backward is the safest bet, but you can also dodge to the side and get a hit in, or even clear out that defiled mist if it's around.
• Grab Attack: If you get too close, he might try to grab you. Dodge away or to the side quickly! If he catches you, he'll bite you and then throw you down, so try your best to avoid becoming his meal.

Hino-Enma Encounter (from Mission "Deep in the Shadows"):

Alright, time for our third boss, Hino-Enma. She can be a real handful, especially if this is your first time facing her. Unlike some other bosses, Hino is FAST. She hits hard, sure, but her speed is what you'll notice first. Keep an eye out for her 'Dash Attack' and 'Paralysis Wave' – they're quick and you'll need to block or dodge them (double-tap X and move left/right). One of the best strategies against Hino-Enma is to use plenty of ranged attacks.
