Nioh Part 74 covers Hundred Eyes attacks like Laser Eye Summon and Staff Swing. Unlocks Way of the Strong.
Walkthrough
- 1Hundred Eyes has several attacks to watch out for.
- 2Laser Eye Summon: Hundred Eyes rests and regenerates HP while summoning small eyeballs that shoot lasers. These eyeballs deal minimal damage and can be killed with a single hit, or multiple with a sweeping weapon. The eyes summoned during this attack will persist on the second instance of this move, so be sure to kill them then.
- 3Staff Swing: Hundred Eyes swings its giant staff outwards. Sticking to its sides or dashing inwards will avoid this attack. It can perform this twice in a row, but rarely. Guarding is a last resort; attacking the sides is ideal. He can also perform an outward slam with the staff, which is easily dodged with a quick left or right dash.
- 4Blood Shards: Multiple blood shards appear above Hundred Eyes and are fired at you. Watch his hands; when he drops his arm as if to say "Fire!", roll out of the way. He usually fires five at a time, but can fire more when at lower health, requiring you to run instead of roll.
Tips
- When attacking Hundred Eyes, aim for its sides rather than its back to avoid its attacks. Keep moving after attacking.
- If Hundred Eyes uses the Laser Eye Summon, clean up the summoned eyeballs and then attack him while he is vulnerable.
- The second time Hundred Eyes uses the Laser Eye Summon, the summoned eyeballs will remain, so prioritize killing them.
- When Hundred Eyes uses Blood Shards, running is a better option than rolling if he fires many shards.
- The sub-mission "Death to Bandits" takes place in April 1600, Usuki, on the same island layout as "Isle of Demons". It involves striking down the bandit leader.
