Alright, let's talk about playing a Necromancer in Pathways into Darkness. These masters of unlife can raise their fallen foes as undead minions, blast enemies with bone spears, or even make corpses explode! Plus, they get a powerful abomination that sticks with them, growing stronger and bigger as you do. It can even equip items, which is pretty neat. Heads up: The class revamp in 09/17/2009 changed a lot. Now, you automatically get both undead forms at level 30, no quest needed, and you can swap between them every 5 seconds. Also, all minion spells are now at the trainers, so you don't need corpses to summon them anymore. Advocate's Ritual is gone, but most of the old info is still good. ### Undead Forms At level 30, you'll get access to two undead forms: the Form of Bones (Lich) or the Wraith form (Ghost). You used to have to pick one and stick with it, but now you get both and can switch between them. Your choice will affect how your summoned minions look. * Form of Bones (Lich): * Level 30: +100 Armor Class, +15% Health, 15% bonus to Physical Spell damage, can breathe underwater, and see invisible. * Level 40: +125 Armor Class, +20% Health, 20% bonus to Physical Spell damage, can breathe underwater, and see invisible. * Level 50: +166 Armor Class, +30% Health, 25% bonus to Physical Spell damage, can breathe underwater, and see invisible. * *Physical Spells include:* Bone Spike, Bone Spear, Plague of Infestation, Sealed Fate, Poison Burst (AoE), and Detonate Corpse (AoE). * Wraith Form (Ghost): * Level 30: 8% damage rune, 15% bonus to Spiritual Spell damage, can breathe underwater, levitate, and see invisible. * Level 40: 8% damage rune, 20% bonus to Spiritual Spell damage, can breathe underwater, levitate, and see invisible. * Level 50: 8% damage rune, 25% bonus to Spiritual Spell damage, can breathe underwater, levitate, and see invisible. * *Spiritual Spells include:* Dark Rebuke, Devouring Shadows, Drain Life, Life Draught, Shadow Feast, and Torment. ### Your Abomination and Grafts Necromancers can customize their loyal abomination companion using
