Run to the very left of the room, being careful not to fall into the sinkholes; walk over them instead. Take the stairs down to Basement Floor 1.

Team Plasma is present. Head forward to begin your campaign.

After defeating the grunt, walk into the quicksand past them and ride it down to Basement Floor 2. Head to the left.

Pass the sinkhole and approach the next Plasma grunt to initiate a battle.

Head past this grunt and drop down the quicksand to Basement Floor 3. Once you are free from the suction, run left for another battle.

Ignore the first quicksand, walk around it to the left, and fight the next grunt.

If you fall down the wrong sinkhole, there are stairs leading back to the entrance.

With the grunt defeated, drop down the quicksand located past her, leading to Basement Level 4. Walk left to encounter two more grunts.

Continue past them and drop down the quicksand to enter Basement Level 5. Here, the Professor will call and ask you to come to the Nacrene City museum. Fly there immediately.
