Route 18 is a mostly uninhabited island off the shores from Nuvema Town, possibly a former part of Desert Resort. Upon arrival, head north and then left up the stairs, passing a hiker.

Continue left through the grass to find a house in the center of the island. Inside, you can heal your Pokémon and receive a mysterious egg, which hatches into the rare Larvesta. Ensure you have an open party slot before receiving the egg, or you'll need to visit a PC.

Explore the rest of the island, using the central house as a base. Head to the south-west corner to find HM05 Waterfall. Side areas may require Strength.

To exit, head clockwise from the central house. Go down the stairs west, then climb the stairs north and head east past a Veteran.
