[3-5-2] Can I use my joystick?

Using a joystick in Quake Champions is possible, but it requires patch 0.92 to be installed. While some players have successfully used joysticks, most Quake Champions players do not favor this input method. A significant disadvantage is that using a joystick can slow down gameplay by a few percent, which is a serious drawback, especially when playing against others. To avoid slowing down the game, it is recommended to learn to use the keyboard or mouse for control.

If you wish to keep your joystick plugged in but not actively use it during gameplay, you can disable it by typing joystick 0 in the console or by starting Quake Champions with the -nojoy command line parameter.
