[3-9-1] The Inventory Bar

Learn what the Quake Champions inventory bar displays, including weapons, ammo, power-ups, and deathmatch scores.

The inventory bar (part of the Heads-Up Display or HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)) shows crucial information for your gameplay in Quake Champions. It lists your available weapons, with the currently active weapon highlighted. Each weapon is associated with a number; pressing that corresponding number key on your keyboard allows you to switch to that weapon.

In addition to weapon selection, the inventory bar displays the amount of ammunition you have for each weapon. It also shows any keys you possess, which are often required to unlock areas or progress. Furthermore, any active power-ups you currently have will be indicated here. The bar also displays how many and which of the four Runes you currently possess.

During a Deathmatch, the inventory bar's function changes slightly to show the top four scores of all players in the current game.
