[5-8] Thunderbolt

Learn how to get the Thunderbolt weapon in Quake Champions shareware using the IMPULSE 9 console command.

The Thunderbolt weapon is present in the shareware version of Quake Champions. To use it, type IMPULSE 9 in the console (a command-line interface for entering special commands). This command also grants you all other weapons. For more information on cheats, consult the cheats section.

The Thunderbolt is a visually and audibly impressive weapon. When fired, it releases a jagged beam of white/blue energy that damages anything in its path. It is effective for damaging grunts and knights, and also assists against larger monsters, though grenades may be preferred for them.

This weapon is particularly effective in Quake Champions deathmatch. Combining the Thunderbolt with the Rocket Launcher allows for significant offensive pressure.

Warning: Do not fire the Thunderbolt underwater, as it has a negative effect.
