[9-2] E1M1: The Slipgate Complex

Secret 1: To the right of the start, find a ledge with flashing lights. Shoot the wall nearest the start on this ledge (the one with the red design) to reveal a box of shells.

Secret 2: Under the first bridge, a river flows into a cavern. Enter the cavern and follow it. A secret is registered as you pass a set of steps with a 100 health item and a locked door. The cavern ends with a lift back to the blue armor at the start. This secret can also be accessed later by shooting a column and then the wall to its right, near the exit slipgate.

Secret 3: Past the first bridge, enter the door and kill the monsters. To the right of the entrance, go to the corner between a column and a ledge. Shoot the globe texture high on the column to raise a platform. Turn right and shoot the globe texture on the ledge; the wall behind it opens to reveal a quad damage item. This can also be accessed from the hall after the slime pool walkway by shooting a red wall.

Secret 4: To the left of the door past the bridge is a large hall. Follow it right to a pool of slime and a button. Push the button for a platform. Halfway across, turn left and shoot a red target in a depression. A door will open, revealing a double-barreled shotgun.

Secret 5: Past the slime pool platform, walk down a hall to a walkway. Turn left twice. Jump onto the bannister, then onto a light. Jump onto the button in front of you. Look at the wall: jump onto the lowest block, then the next, and finally to the ledge containing a 100 health item.

Secret 6: Go to the end of the walkway and through the door. Behind a column is a biosuit. Take it and jump into the slime. Swim under the door and follow the tunnel. Swim up to a platform overhead. The secret is registered when you swim up the opening. Yellow armor and health are on the platform. There is also a slipgate to an area over the door past the bridge.
