Walkthrough

From the man you spoke to, go left and collect the Bulletproof Vest from a wooden box.

Proceed to the next floor. You will find holes in the floor, preventing progress from either side of the lift.

The only way to advance is to rescue Marilyn from the monsters.

Alternatively, you can solve a small puzzle on the second floor to access the ladder to the next floor.

If you choose to go to the sewers, go down the stairs to the right of the man and continue downwards until you reach them.

Tips

The Bulletproof Vest can be found by going left from the man you initially speak to.
Progress is blocked on the second floor until Marilyn is rescued.
A puzzle on the second floor also provides access to the next level.
