The game begins after choosing a character name. The hero is an hunter.

In Riorad Village, search wooden boxes and drawers for items. Leave and go southeast to the South Cave.

In South Cave, search wooden boxes for items. Go down to B2 to fight the boss (1-8) Bionic Pooch. After defeating it, Red Wolf will help. Reply 'yes' to Red Wolf's question.

Interact with the computer, select 'search,' then 'gate control,' and 'OPEN' to open the gate.

Get on the tank 'Mosquito' and drive it out of the cave, heading northwest to the North Cave.

In North Cave, search wooden boxes for items. On B3, navigate around holes to reach a treasure chest. Drive Mosquito to B4 to fight the prize head boss (1-16) Salmonella Family x2. After defeating them, you receive monster badge one.

Drive out of the cave and north to the Northern Barrier.

At the Northern Barrier, get off Mosquito and enter the room with a television. Speak to the man on the right and reply 'yes' to receive the 'ID card (c).'

Go to the computer in the top-right room. Use the menu to select 'partner,' then 'tool,' 'ID card (c),' and 'use it' to open the gate.

Get back on Mosquito, drive through the gate, and head east to Negi Village. Walk through the swamp or trees to enter the village.

In Negi Village, search the lower right corner of the potato field and reply 'yes' four times to cultivate it and get the 'wedding ring.'

Enter the nearby house and give the 'wedding ring' to the girl in the kitchen. She will give you the 'ruby lens (1-4).'

Get back on Mosquito and drive southeast to Bobre Opre Town.

In Bobre Opre Town, visit the equipment shop to buy new gear. Donate 1000G or more to Maria at the school to erect a bronze statue.

Drive to Uriu-san's House nearby. Go inside and through the door on the right.

After the event, speak to the mechanic Masakazu, who is driving Mosquito. Interact with Mosquito, select 'speak,' and reply 'yes' twice to have Masakazu join the Hero.

Get back on Mosquito and drive east to the Seashore Factory.

In the Seashore Factory, go up ladders to 3F. Speak twice to the President on the balcony and reply 'yes' twice to get permission to use the wild buggy.

On 3F, have Masakazu get on the vehicle (Buggy) and select 'get on and get off' to pilot it. Drive the Buggy through ledges and holes until you reach 1F.

On 1F, have the Hero get on Mosquito. Drive across the iron bridge to fight the prize head boss (2-16) Dos Piranas and frogman x2. After defeating them, you receive a monster badge.

Drive both vehicles back to Bobure Opure Town.

At the tank curio dealer, buy a 'dug system' for Mosquito. At the cannon ball shop, buy 8 armor piercing rounds.

Drive north of Negi Village through the exploding field to Cannon Gun Position.

Enter the position with the two large cannons and fight the first Big Cannon boss (2-8). Use armor piercing to shock it.

After defeating the first Big Cannon, use the 'dug system' on Mosquito to warp back to Bobure Opure Town for more supplies.

Return to the Big Cannon position, drive further in, and fight the second Big Cannon boss (2-8). Use armor piercing again.

After defeating the second Big Cannon, drive northeast to Audrey Town.

In Audrey Town, go to the bar area in the building on the top left. Speak to the female soldier Jean and reply 'yes' twice to have her join the group. She will then join in battle against the Bad Group x6.

After the event with Red Wolf, speak to Jean again and reply 'yes' to have her join the group.

In the bar area, go down the ladder to the transmission center. Use the computer to select 'search' and then '2' to open the transmission door. Enter the chamber to warp to Negi Village.

Exit Negi Village and walk into Negi Swamp.

In Negi Swamp, walk until the prize head boss (3-16) Dr. La Flecha appears. Fight and defeat him to get a monster badge.

Return to Negi Village and go to the transmission center. Use the computer to select 'search' and then '4' to open the transmission door. Enter the chamber to warp to Audrey Town.
