This guide details how to find the 180 Burst Cannon and SMG Grenade in Risk of Rain Returns. The route begins near the Sol Hole, south of Sol.

1. To Ramp A and ID CARD (p)

From the Sol Hole, drive right to the rubble. Exit your tank and walk left to a platform with a bookshelf. Interact with the bookshelf to receive the ID Card (p). Return to your tank, drive up through the broken wall near the entrance, and follow the path right to Ramp A.

2. Finding Hell's Keep West: Ramp B

Continue left along the tracks through several dark screens until you reach a lighted area. Instead of going to the dead end, pass the brown rubble and turn down the screen, then go up Ramp B to the right. After this, go up through another broken wall. In the paved area, find a ladder in the left corner. Go down the ladder and left along the platform to a switch. Flip it to turn on the lights. Walk right and flip a second switch to illuminate the right side. Return to your tank. Drive forward and left through another broken wall and up the ramp. You are now west of Sol. To find Hell's Gate West, drive west along the northern edge of the land, past Hell's Gate (access to the Northern Desert). Continue west along the desert and water's edge to reach Hell's Gate West town.

3. Finding The Auto-Escape BSCon Program and Freeza

Head right along the tracks for three screens until you reach a green tented light. Enter this opening and interact with the Net Hacking Controller computer. Select LOAD to upload a program to the BS-Controller. You can walk right of this opening, up through a broken wall, and down a ramp to tracks going north-south. Drive to the dead end and search the beginnings of a platform with the Metal Detector to find the 180mm Burst Cannon. Drive down the lower ramp, turn up the screen into the right edge of the tunnel, and search for the SMG Grenade. You can also walk further right along the tracks to an open door in a train carriage and another ramp down, which leads to a dead end. Walking through the train carriages leads to a station platform area. From here, take the ramp up, head up through a broken wall, and left to find a ladder down to a lower platform.
