ii. Northern Cave/Salmonella Clan

From Leorad, drive west then north around rocks until you see dead trees. Head west to find the cave entrance to the north.

Inside, speak to the man near the entrance to learn about Armour Tiles. If unsure, check your tank's PARTS menu to see SP (Stats Points) and Load. If Load exceeds tank capacity, it shows as a minus number, requiring you to remove tiles.

Level 1: Drive down to the next floor. Head right to open a box with 76 Gold. Drive up, right, and down until you must leave your tanks on rocky ground (C). Walk down to a rope ladder. On the next floor, walk up and left to find a box with a Shotgun (4). Return to your tanks. Drive left and down, exit your tank to open a wooden box containing a Hand Grenade (2).

Level 2: Return to the center and drive down the ramp (A). Go down, left, and up another ramp (B) to find a box with a 40-Plate Pack (3). Drive back down the ramp and right, then up past the first ramp. Continue until you find the next ramp down (D).

Level 3: Speak to the man. To find the 7.7mm Machine Gun (5), head right, away from the arrow and box, and all the way up and around to reach it from the far side. A box here contains the weapon. Note: You may need to remove Armour Tiles to equip this weapon. To equip, go to Tank menu > PARTS > AUTOGUN. This gun uses no shells, making battles cost-free, though it may not be effective against all enemies (e.g., Bomb Turtle). If you go left following an arrow, a hole will open, dropping you to a lower level where you can find a ramp back up.

Level 4: Drive up the narrow path to the top of the screen, then right, to find the ramp down to the bottom level. This is a large room where the Salmonella Clan can be encountered randomly.
