Head to the computer, use the 'search' option for 'gate control,' and open the gate. Then, get into the tank named Mosquito – yep, that's our Yuge Ferry! Drive it out of the cave and head northwest towards the North Cave.

Here, you can upgrade your hero's gear and search for items.

    Uriu-san's House & Seashore Factory: Head to Uriu-san's House nearby. After an event inside, Masakazu, a mechanic, will join you. He'll hop into Mosquito with you. Drive east to the Seashore Factory. On the 3rd floor, talk to the President twice to get permission to use the 'wild buggy.' Masakazu can ride on top of the Buggy to help you get it. Drive the Buggy through the factory, falling off ledges and through holes until you reach 1F. Then, have the Hero get on Mosquito. Drive across the iron bridge to face the Dos Piranas and frogman x2. After this victory, you'll get another monster badge. Drive both vehicles back to Bobre Opre Town.

    Bobure Opure Town & Cannon Gun Position: At the tank curio dealer, buy the 'dug system' for Mosquito – it's a warp device. Also, stock up on 8 armor-piercing rounds for Mosquito at the cannon ball shop. Now, head north through the exploding field to Cannon Gun Position. Fight the first Big Cannon boss, using the armor-piercing rounds to stun it. After the fight, use Mosquito's 'dug system' to warp back to Bobre Opre Town for more ammo, then return to fight the second Big Cannon. After that, drive northeast to Audrey Town.

    Audrey Town & Negi Swamp: In Audrey Town, find the female soldier Jean in the bar area. After a brief fight with the Bad Group x6 where she joins you, she'll become a permanent friend. Use the transmission center's computer to warp to Negi Village, then head into Negi Swamp.
