Each time you select to USE the Bible (a type of item), you can read a different piece of advice. It is currently unknown how many pieces of advice exist, but there may be only three.

• Bible: "If it won't run, try forcing the engine to run."
• Bible: "If it won't run, tow it until it can."
• Bible: "If it won't run, strip it down to nothing."

Bloodstained Notebook

This item contains fragmented thoughts hinting at a potential disaster originating from the Global Relief Center's master computer, named "Noah." The writer questions if a computer can gain consciousness and plans to investigate by entering passwords into four terminals on the first floor. They note that being spotted by security robots means certain death.

Research Notes

These notes describe the creation of a supercomputer designed to combat environmental pollution and destruction. It is an asynchronously parallel neurocomputer incorporating von Neumann's automata, organic high-polymer elements, and three-dimensional computation. The creators named this computer "Noah" and included a prayer for humanity's survival.

Digging Fields

You can dig in the fields located in Negi, Pobre Obre, and the Hidden Cottage. When a message appears indicating something is glittering, you can pick it up. The location and the items found are random.

Items found in Negi: Healing Capsule, Large Rock, 1 gold, Army Gloves, Small Rock, Boomerang Wrench, Red Peony's Dagger.

Items found in Pobre Obre: Healing Capsule, Small Rock, 1 gold, Protector Scrap.

Items found in Hidden Cottage: Large Rock, 1 gold, Army Gloves.

You can also randomly find items on the world map, such as 1 gold, Small Rock, Army Gloves, and Large Rock.

Equipment (ARMS)

Equipment in Risk of Rain Returns is categorized into Weapons, Head Armour, Hand Armour, Foot Armour, Body Armour, and Protectors. Most equipment can be purchased, but some items can only be found using the Metal Detector (a type of item that reveals hidden objects), within dungeons, or are dropped by enemies (though enemy drops are not guaranteed). Some purchasable items can also be obtained as drops. A few items can be won as prizes from the "Whack-a Mole" game in the Broadcast Tower, but these are also rare drops.
