Alright, let's talk about the Heavy Armor, or as you'll often hear it called, the Mech. This thing is a beast in close quarters and a real game-changer when you get up close and personal with the enemy infantry. It's solid for both going on the offensive and holding down a defensive position, like when you're assaulting or protecting a base or a DCM. ## Weapons No matter which model of Mech you're piloting or who you're fighting for, the weaponry is the same. You've got a devastating melee attack that can really bone-shatter, twin machine guns for some ranged suppression, and a powerful leap that lets you close the distance super fast. Just be aware, that leap chews through energy and needs a good recharge, so use it wisely. These weapons can take out infantry in a flash, sometimes before they even know what hit them. It's still a strong defensive option, but it's not quite the top-tier offensive weapon it used to be. You'll find it's slower than the [Bike](https://section8.fandom.com/wiki/Bike "Bike") and can't reach out as far as the [Tank](https://section8.fandom.com/wiki/Tank "Tank"), but when it comes to shredding enemies up close, it's king. It's fantastic for protecting your other vehicles. It can soak up a lot of damage, shielding your allies like the faster but more fragile Bikes, or the pricier Tanks. While they focus on enemy vehicles and structures, your Mech can handle the infantry threat.
