The Crash Site — Schedule I Walkthrough

Starting the Game: After a cutscene and character customization, you spawn near the motel. Open your phone ('Tab') and read messages to receive the 'Getting Started' quest. Follow instructions to find Uncle Nelson at the payphone. He'll direct you to a dead drop near the skatepark containing $375.

Renting a Motel Room: Speak to Donna, the motel manager. The quest changes to 'Rent a motel room'. After dialogue, you can pickpocket Donna to steal back the $75 needed for the room. Enter Room 1 to complete the quest. Return to the payphone to speak with Uncle Nelson again.

Buying Equipment: A new questline, 'Gearing Up', begins. Go to the hardware store (marked by a yellow star on the map, or by following the road past your room). Deposit your cash at the ATM. Purchase a grow tent, soil bag, and watering can from Dan. It's recommended to also buy 'Plant Trimmers', a 'Packaging Station', and 10 'Baggies'. Optionally, buy a trash grabber and a 'Trash bag'. If you tell Dan you're a drug dealer, he may gift you 'Speed Grow'. Return to your motel room, place the grow tent, and fill the pot with soil using the watering can. Speak to Uncle Nelson again.

Planting your First Seeds: Uncle Nelson introduces Albert Hoover. Check your phone for a message from Albert. To order seeds, select 'I need to order a dead drop'. Purchase 'OG Kush' seeds. Albert will deliver them to a dead drop location, which will be highlighted on your map. The first delivery takes 30 in-game minutes, subsequent ones take about 4 in-game hours. Your debt is placed on a tab, payable at the dead drop behind the hardware store. Sow the seed in the grow tent by pressing 'E' when prompted. Water the plant using the watering can. Sleeping after watering helps plants grow faster and conserves water.

Harvesting and Packaging: Once the plant is fully grown, use the 'Plant Trimmers' on the grow tent to harvest the buds. Place the 'Packaging Station' in your room. Interact with it to package the buds into baggies. Drag baggies to the 'Packaging' spot and buds to the 'Input' spot. Press 'Pack', then drag each bud into a baggie, and the baggie into the hopper. Packaged weed will appear in the output. Jars can also be purchased at the hardware store for storage.
