The Shadar-kai — Schedule I Walkthrough

Starting the Game: After a cutscene and character customization, you spawn near the bus station. Open your phone ('Tab') and read messages to receive the "Getting Started" quest. Follow instructions to find a payphone and meet "U.N." (Uncle Nelson). He directs you to retrieve his stash near the skatepark, containing $375.

Renting a Motel Room: Speak to the motel manager, Donna. The quest updates to "Rent a motel room." After dialogue, you can pickpocket Donna to steal back the $75 needed for the room. Enter room 1 to complete the objective. Return to the payphone to speak with Uncle Nelson again.

Buying Equipment: A new questline, "Gearing Up," begins. Head to the hardware store (marked by a yellow star on the map, or by following the road left from your room). Deposit your cash at the ATM. Purchase a grow tent, soil bag, and watering can from Dan. It's recommended to also buy "Plant Trimmers," a "Packaging Station," and 10 "Baggies." If you tell Dan you're a drug dealer, he may gift you "Speed Grow." Return to your motel room, place the grow tent, and add soil to the pot. Speak to Uncle Nelson again.

Planting your First Seeds: Uncle Nelson introduces Albert Hoover. Check your phone for a message from Albert. To order seeds, select "I need to order a dead drop." Purchase "OG Kush" seeds. Albert will deliver them to a dead drop location. Pay off your tab by placing cash in the dead drop behind the hardware store. Sow the seed in the grow tent by pressing 'E' when prompted. Water the plant using the watering can, which you can fill at the sink. Sleeping after watering helps plants grow faster and conserves water.

Packaging: Once the plant is harvested using the plant trimmers, place down the "Packaging Station." Interact with it to package the buds into baggies. Drag baggies to the "Packaging" spot and buds to the "Input." Press "Pack," then drag each bud into a baggie, and the baggie into the hopper. Packaged weed will appear in the output. Jars can also be purchased at the hardware store for storage.
