Ark 2 FAQ covering character abilities, item usage, and monster book completion. Learn how to use LV2 abilities and more.

Walkthrough:

1. Increasing Jump: Your Jump (p rating) can be increased artificially with a status effect or naturally with level-ups. Shu is likely the first character to gain a Jump past the default level of 1.
2. Adding to Battle Party: If you forget to add someone to your battle party, re-enter the location where the option to do so becomes available again.
3. Using LV2 Abilities: To use Level 2 (LV2) abilities, find an applicable skill, open the ability in-battle, and press right on the d-pad to go up through the current levels, or press left to go to the maximum level at once.
4. Diekbeck's Utility: Diekbeck becomes incredibly versatile once all his power units are collected, offering great stats and rare spells like Death and Happy Beam. Equipping a character with the King's Image accessory (initially found on Kelack) will raise any EXP given to Diekbeck via his Yagos Isle transfer machine. Diekbeck's high HP/MP make him useful during mandatory split-team events. The King's Image and Silk Belt effects will stack somewhat.
5. Amaidar Fist Ability: The Amaidar Fist ability is given only during the storyline in Greyshinne.
6. Yagos Isle Combinations: While many great items can be made at Yagos Isle, some combinations, like the Crown Ax & Gale Bandanna combo axe
