Part 45

After returning to the present, save at the Sabatico Shrine. Prepare to take the North and South Pole Towers simultaneously. Arc leads the north team, Elc the south. Split the remaining party members evenly, ensuring a healer is with Elc's southern team.

North Pole Tower [1-2F]: Arc's team fights a #1 battle. Flip the north wall switch on 1F, proceed to 3F, and flip that switch. Return to 1F to find a path to the orb. A Dragon Scale armor (LV 6/15, DEF 16/27) can be found before reaching the orb. Activating the orb switches POV to Elc.

South Pole Tower [1-2F]: Elc's team starts. On 2F, solve the sliding ice puzzle to reach a treasure chest containing the IceGrizzle Fang (LV 6/14, ATK 19/31, Water-elemental). From the chest's location, navigate the ice to reach and activate the orb.

South Pole Tower [2-4F]: Proceed to 3F and then to 4F, another ice rink. Use the SW stairway on 3F to reach 4F. Slide to find the IceLong Sword (LV 4/10, ATK 19/29, Water-elemental). Return to 3F, take the NW stairway, which moves Elc south. From there, go west for a #2 battle. The eastern passage leads to another orb.

North Pole Tower [2-4F]: Return to 3F in the North Pole Tower. The glacier should now be passable. Go to 4F and push the northernmost glacier on the west rink to activate the orb. Pushing other glaciers triggers a #1 battle.

South Pole Tower [4-5F]: Return to 3F and take the SW stairway to 4F again. Slide along the eastern route to the stairway to 5F. On the small solid ground patch, perform the following slides: west, north, west, north, east, north, east, north, east, north. This leads to solid ground. Move one space east and slide south & east to find a chest with Frey's Headdress (Light-elemental, LV 12/12, DEF 9/9, elemental defenses). Return to the north solid rim, go west and south, and slide to the stairway. Avoid the SW portion to prevent a #2 battle. Activate the orb near the stairway.

North Pole Tower [4-8F]: On 5F, fight a #1 battle before finding the stairs. Collect the Metal Arm guard (LV 4/15, DEF 9/19) and an Amethyst jewel (LV 0/0, DEF 1/1, Recover HP). On 6F, find the hidden Refreshing Shoes chest (LV 1/12, ATK 11/26, increases HP/MP every turn; Shante-only). Fight another #1 battle on 7F to reach 8F.
