Backtracking and Secret Shortcut: After obtaining the Romancing Stone 4 on floor B50, backtrack to B40 to leave the Forbidden Ruins. If Choko has already been invited, she will reveal a secret shortcut to B50 upon entering Forbidden Ruins from the world map. This shortcut is located up the first stair, to the right, in a small offshoot with a gray wall. There is no shortcut back except on B40.

Unlocking Lower Floors:

  1. Visit Clenia Isle's Time Forest: Travel to Clenia Isle's Time Forest on the world map (via skyport) and navigate the tree maze using the exit sequence: WEWEWENSN. The environment will become darker as you progress correctly.
  2. Tokoko Village and Choko's Invitation: You will arrive at Tokoko Village. Choko will invite the party to her house (northwestmost) for the night. The next morning, she will give a tour and lead you to the Time Forest graveyard (ESSWWNN from Tokoko) and then to the exit (ENES from the graveyard). Choko will join your party at the entrance.
  3. Choko's Growth and Mother's Grave: Level Choko up to 55. Return her to the Time Forest. A new scene will trigger, and instead of returning to Tokoko Village, revisit the graveyard (go north 4 times from the entrance). Find and read the back of Choko's mother's headstone.
  4. Choko's Father's House and Silva's Dog: Re-enter the Time Forest, and Choko will visit her father's house. She will mention losing her dog, Silva. Search the backyard for a key in a pile of junk near the bedroom. Then, find a small brown headstone and read what is buried beneath it. More scenes will follow in the house.
  5. Green Slime Battle: You will face a Lv 55 Green Slime [8] with 135 HP and 72 ATK. Elc and Lieza are mandatory for this fight, and Choko cannot be used. The objective is to escape the town, not to defeat the slimes. Bringing allies with low ATK, like Gogen, can prevent accidental kills from counterattacks. A chest containing [Red Shoes] is hidden behind the church and can be accessed by Gogen (or anyone with Expand Range) via a hidden path.
