First up, we've got the 'Clear the Tracks!' job, worth 6 merits and 3000g. The goal here is to move rocks off the mine cart tracks. You'll find the miner waiting for you in Banza Mountain. Head to the first screen of Banza Mountain and look for a new passage that's opened up on the west wall. After a couple of battle screens, you'll reach a long mine cart track where the miner is waiting. Your main task is to simply move the rocks off the track. The secondary objective, which is key for the best outcome, is to dump these rocks into a hole to get rid of them. Make sure you do this, or your job completion won't be perfect. If you mess up or want to try again, the miner will let you restart the job.

Next is the 'Collect Minerals' job, a bit more lucrative with 8 merits and 4000g. The miner you need to talk to is also at Banza Mountain. He's lost 20 minerals, and wouldn't you know it, they're now guarded by some tough monsters. You'll be facing a mix of enemies, so be prepared. The monsters you might encounter include:

The minerals themselves are scattered on the ground and can be picked up just like any other item using the 'X' button. The best outcome for this job is to return all 20 minerals to the miner. Keep an eye out for the healing spot marked on the map – it could be a lifesaver!
