Walkthrough
- 1From the optional fast travel point in Letopolis, head northwest to find Ramessu. He'll mention earning a house in Letopolis by helping with a project. Bayek is referred to Nehi, a new arrival.
- 2Head west-southwest to find Nehi. He's worried about his lost ox-cart, scared away by loud roars. Bayek offers to find it.
- 3Head west into the desert to the search area. Use Senu to locate the wagon, guarded by bandits and their pet lions.
- 4Clear the area of enemies using stealth or direct combat. Loot the ruins and find Nehi's wagon.
- 5Ride the wagon back to Letopolis and speak with Nehi. He invites Bayek to his house and points out troubling hieroglyphs.
- 6Return east to find Ramessu. He dismisses the hieroglyphs as incomprehensible but mentions others with similar concerns. Bayek decides to investigate these individuals.
- 7Use Senu to scan Letopolis and locate three individuals with hieroglyphs.
- 8Track down and speak to each of the three individuals to gain permission to view their hieroglyphs.
- 9Examine the hieroglyphs of all three individuals. This will reveal a Prophetic Message: "_If your feet are within Letopolis, look west to the pyramids. Within the golden dunes lies the Temple of a Million Years, guarded by stone lionesses._"
- 10Return to the optional fast travel point in Letopolis and look southwest to spot the pyramids of Giza and ruins in the dunes beyond the Temple of Horus. This is the Temple of a Million Years.
- 11Ride southwest into the desert to reach the ruins. Defeat the level 18 bandits guarding the entrance.
- 12Enter the ruins through the cleft between the two stone lionesses. Navigate through spider webs and be cautious of snakes.
- 13Investigate the urn on the slab, the corpses near the pillar, the shrine, and the table of scrolls. Bayek concludes that inhabiting Letopolis is sacrilegious.
- 14Loot the red chest and return to Nehi in Letopolis to inform him of the discovery. Nehi decides to leave Letopolis.
Tips
- When searching for Nehi's wagon, the ruins offer little cover, but foliage in the water to the west can provide hiding spots. Use the ruins to break lines of sight for stealth assassinations.
- The Temple of a Million Years has little cover outside, but an elevated position atop nearby ruins offers an excellent sniping vantage point.
- Inside the Temple of a Million Years, be cautious of snakes that may be hidden within urns.
