Complete the Bad Faith quest in assassins creed origins by defeating Sehetep and obtaining the Staff of Sehetep.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Report your findings from “The Jaws of Sobek” to Padiaset. Commandeer a ship and sail east back to Krokodilopolis. Padiaset is located on the island east of the Neorion Naval Academy.
  2. 2
Padiaset will inform you that he is aware of Sehetep’s actions. It is decided that you will deal with Sehetep.
  3. 3
Head north through Krokodilopolis towards the Temple of Sobek. You will be ambushed by two of Sehetep’s assassins, including two dual-dagger wielders.
  4. 4
The Temple of Sobek is a restricted zone. Scale any wall to enter the temple.
  5. 5
Sehetep is in the building on the western end of the temple, opposite the crocodile enclosure. Climb to the top of this structure and find an opening.
  6. 6
Perform a takedown from above on Sehetep while he is talking to his bodyguard.
  7. 7
Kill Sehetep’s bodyguard and escape the temple grounds.
  8. 8
Talk to Padiaset to complete the quest.

Temple of Sobek Exploration:

After completing the quest, the Temple of Sobek is no longer a restricted zone. Enter the building where Sehetep was and climb the statue of Sobek to reach an elevated ledge. Make your way south to find a table with the Papyrus Puzzle scroll “Sobek’s Rage”.

In Plain Sight Papyrus Puzzle:

This puzzle is found on the southeastern most island of Krokodilopolis, where you found the illegal tannery during “The Jaws of Sobek” quest. Follow the waterways stained with odd oils until you find square, stone enclosures holding colored dye. There are red, white, and yellow enclosures. Find the single white enclosure; the treasure is inside.

Sobek’s Rage Papyrus Puzzle:

This puzzle is located in the southwestern corner of the Haueris Nome, east and slightly north of the Temple of Sobek fast travel point. Head to the pyramid fast travel point and look south to find a large, ruined temple with a crocodile statue. From the crocodile statue, head south to find a large statue of a seated pharaoh. The treasure is on the ground near the back of the pharaoh statue’s head.

Tips
  • When approaching the Temple of Sobek, be prepared for the ambush by Sehetep’s assassins.
  • Use stealth to perform a takedown from above on Sehetep for an easier encounter.
  • The papyrus puzzle solutions require careful observation of the environment described in the riddles.
