Complete the Feeding Faiyum quest in assassins creed origins. Defeat the Butcher and his guards to finish the mission.
Walkthrough
- 1After completing "Murder in the Temple," speak to a woman near the high priest’s villa in Karanis. She will ask you to speak to her husband, a stone mason working on the northwestern end of the temple.
- 2Find her husband and speak with him. He will repeat his wife's concerns.
- 3Head east and drop down to find a passage under the temple. Kill the guard watching the entrance.
- 4Proceed into the darkness and eliminate the additional guards. There is little cover available.
- 5Smash a reed door to the southeast to find a letter and two chests. This completes the Underground Stash objective.
- 6Leave the room and head northeast through a doorway deeper under the temple.
- 7Activate your Animus Pulse to highlight objects of interest and examine a letter on the ground. This letter implicates the "Butcher" and the "Crocodile."
- 8Leave Karanis and travel west along the coast to a search area. Deploy Senu to locate the target treasure near the Sunken Temple of Pnepheros. Scan for two other submerged treasures as well.
- 9Enter the ruins of the Sunken Temple of Pnepheros. Be aware of guards (level 25), boats, and crocodiles. Use the ruins for high ground and foliage for hiding. Be cautious of dual-dagger wielding guards.
- 10After eliminating the guards, swim to the treasure near the Sobek statue.
- 11Find another treasure and the Butcher's chest in ruins under the statue. Investigating the Butcher's chest will direct you to Soknopaiou village to the west.
- 12Swim west of the Sobek statue to find a third treasure chest near ruins on the lake floor. Looting all three non-quest chests completes the Sunken Temple of Pnepheros location.
- 13Return to shore, summon your mount, and ride west to Soknopaiou. A mandatory fast travel point will activate upon approach.
- 14Use Senu to locate the Soknopaiou Storehouse and head to the marked spot.
- 15Eliminate the four guards (level 24) around the warehouse. You can use bushes and whistling to lure them.
- 16Enter the warehouse and smash a reed door to access a larger complex below ground.
- 17Follow the linear path north until you find a passage east.
- 18Sneak into the room where two soldiers are talking and eliminate them, along with a third guard.
- 19Search spilled grain to the south and read two letters on desks to the north. One letter reveals the Butcher's location in a nearby villa.
- 20Sneak down the tunnel to the east and climb a ladder to reach the villa.
- 21Immediately kill the two brutes nearby and loot two treasure chests to complete the Vault of Splendors objective.
- 22Climb two ladders to the north to confront the Butcher (level 25), who is aided by two guards (level 25). They are in a confined space and have small shields.
- 23Defeat the Butcher and his guards. Confirm the Butcher's death to end the quest.
