Walkthrough
- 1To begin the "Worker's Lament" quest, travel southeast of the Letopolis fast travel point and interact with a table to speak with Chief Nito.
- 2Use Senu to locate the well south of Nito's position.
- 3Jump down into the well and speak with the man there.
- 4Proceed down the nearby passage, break through a reed wall, and speak to an injured man named Ipuy.
- 5Pick up Ipuy and carry him out of the well.
- 6Return to the passage, break through a second reed barrier, and kill the two cobras that are guarding the tunnel.
- 7Continue east to a larger chamber and speak with the missing brother.
- 8Examine the scrolls in the chamber, particularly "A History of the Keepers of the Old Library" on a stone altar to the northeast. This will initiate the quest "The Old Library."
- 9Return to Chief Nito and inform her about the situation to complete the "Worker's Lament" quest.
- 10Head southeast into the Temple of Horus and collect the "Sea of Sand" Papyrus Puzzle Scroll.
- 11To solve the "Sea of Sand" puzzle: Travel to the broken ship in South East of Iment Nome. Use Dusk & Dawn to pass time until morning. Ascend the fast travel point, look west for the ship's mast's shadow (the "X"), and perform a leap of faith. Search the dune where the shadow falls for the treasure.
- 12To solve the "Dead End" puzzle (obtained at Zephyros Stables near Kanopos): Head northeast from Letopolis to the coast, then northwest past the docks to the farmland. Bypass the first two irrigation canals. At the third canal, turn southwest and follow the stone canal/wooden walkway inland. After two ramps, the walkway ends. Jump into the foul water and follow the canal northwest until it ends at the desert sands, where the treasure is located.
- For completing "Worker's Lament": 1,500 XP
