Showdown in Sakamoto Walkthrough

Find Shotei: Shotei is located at Sakamoto Tower, northwest of Sakamoto town on Lake Biwa, atop a hill. Climb the rocks or find the path to reach him. Prepare both Yasuke and Naoe before speaking to him.

Kill Gamo Yoshimitsu (Yasuke): Gamo Yoshimitsu is in the Yoshimitsu Estate in the southwestern part of Sakamoto. You can either charge in or sneak around the back and climb the wall. Approaching Yoshimitsu triggers a cutscene and a duel. He wields a poisoned katana and has several combos, including an unblockable three-hit combo and a tricky delayed blue-colored two-hit combo. Be cautious of his counter-attacks when he is vulnerable.

Destroy the Explosives (Naoe): After the duel, you will control Naoe. Enter the castle grounds using the scaffolding, being mindful of the guard at the top. Use Eagle Vision to tag enemies and locate the three explosive pots (blue dots). These can be destroyed with kunai. Two are to the south (one accessible from a rooftop and nearby tree, the other from a lower roof) and one is to the north.

Assassinate Akechi Kagemitsu (Naoe): After destroying the explosives, regroup with Katsuhime on a northern rooftop. You can choose to assassinate Kagemitsu as either Naoe or Yasuke, though Naoe is recommended for stealth. As Naoe, use the ladder near the bamboo wall, drop into a passage, and shimmy along the outer wall to reach the tenshu (main keep). Alternatively, sneak through to a pile of hay, use your grappling hook to reach a ledge below an open window, and enter the tenshu. Inside, the higher blue dot indicates Kagemitsu.
