Discover the best hideout buildings in assassins creed shadows, including Stables for cheaper scouts and Study for more scouts. Learn about gear upgrades and EXP boosts.
Walkthrough
- 1The Stables: Upgrading the Stables is the cheapest way to improve scout efficiency. Lv2 Stables cost 70x Crops, 50x Wood, and 20x Minerals, allowing one scout to smuggle a pallet instead of two, doubling their efficiency. Lv3 Stables cost 350x Crops, 260x Wood, and 90x Minerals, increasing Smuggling Gains by 20%.
- 2The Study: Building a Study provides additional scouts. Lv1 costs 60x Crops, 40x Wood, and 10x Minerals and grants one scout. Each subsequent upgrade adds another scout at a steeper price.
- 3The Forge: To engage in combat and access resource pallets, build a Forge. Complete the quest Way of the Blacksmith to recruit Heiji. A Forge costs 40x Crops, 30x Wood, and 10x Minerals, allowing gear upgrades up to Lv20. Lv2 Forge costs 350x Crops, 260x Wood, and 90x Minerals, raising the cap to Lv40 and enabling the use of non-legendary engravings.
- 4Finishing Upgrades: Upgrade Stables to Lv3 for a 20% increase in smuggling gains. Upgrading the Study to unlock a third scout costs 810x Crops, 610x Wood, and 200x Minerals.
- 5Tera: This non-upgradeable room costs 740x Crops, 550x Wood, 180x Minerals, and 1930 Mon. It provides a permanent +10% EXP boost.
- 6Nando: This building reduces Mon costs for hiring additional scouts by 30%.
Tips
- Scouts can smuggle pallets of resources found in enemy camps and castles at the end of the season, providing hundreds of resources.
- Improving scout numbers and efficiency is an early priority. You unlock two more scouts (total of three) when you leave the Hideout as part of the quest Finding New Allies.
- Clearing a single resource-rich contract should suffice to get a Study Lv2.
- Consider upgrading the Forge to Lv2 before upgrading the Study to Lv3.
- The sooner you build the Tera, the more you will benefit from the EXP boost.
