Alright, so you've got the 'Shadows and Light' quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows, and you need to find some lanterns. Don't worry, they're not too far away! You'll be heading to Kashiwara Village, which you've probably already stumbled upon if you're aiming to recruit everyone. If not, it's just a bit northwest of your main cabin base. The real action is inside Kashiwara Manor, a place that's locked down and crawling with enemies. This is a perfect spot to decide if you want to go in loud with Yasuke or sneak around with Naoe.

Kashiwara Manor itself isn't huge, with three main buildings, and guess what? Each one has a lantern. If you approach from the west side of the village, you'll spot a decent-sized gap in the fence. It's a great entry point for sneaking in. If you're playing as Naoe, definitely use your Eagle Vision to tag all the guards first. Knowing their patrol routes will make things way smoother. Right inside that back entrance, there's a pile of hay – super handy for a quick hide if you need it. We found a tough enemy patrolling near there, and he conveniently wandered behind a building, making him a prime first target.

Now, if you're using Naoe and haven't upgraded her assassination skills much, this heavy enemy might give you a bit of trouble with his multiple health bars. But if you can take him down, it really opens up the area and makes the rest of your approach much easier. Remember, your kunai are pretty potent too; they let you keep your distance while still taking enemies out. Once you've dealt with the guards, feel free to explore the manor, grab any loot, and, most importantly, collect those three lanterns.

After you've got all three, head back to the cabin and chat with Yoshiharu. Hand over the lanterns – the dialogue choice doesn't really change anything, but picking the one about home might feel a bit more fitting. A cutscene will play, and that's it! Quest complete, and you're done with this mission chain.
