Master the Arlette and Puppeteer boss fights in Chained Together! Learn their weaknesses, attack patterns, and the best strategies to defeat them and claim your rewards.

Alright, let's talk about these two bosses: Arlette and the Puppeteer. They're definitely a step up, but totally beatable with the right approach. We'll break down what makes them tick and how to come out on top.

Boss Encounter: Arlette

So, Arlette is the result of Daimbert's experiments, and she's going to fight us. Honestly, her design is gorgeous! She's strong against fire (makes sense, right?) but weak against water. She's also classified as 'Human'. First thing's first: try to steal from her ASAP to get a [_GOLD NUGGET_].

The real key to this fight is managing your TP and HP regeneration. Arlette can take a beating, so keeping those buffs up is crucial. Her single-target move, 'Fire Flower', hits for about 25 damage. Her area-of-effect attack, 'Blooming Fireworks', deals 20-35 damage to everyone. That's pretty much it for her direct damage, but there's more!

She has a move called 'Third Eye' where she ABSORBS DAMAGE. When she does this, DON'T attack her. Seriously, just use that time to heal and buff yourself. Attacking her during this just heals her up, so focus on recovery.

Her final move is 'Soul Infusion'. She draws in more souls, and all her stats get a boost. This means her attacks hit harder, and it's a sign the end of the battle is near. You absolutely need to keep those healing and buffs going when she starts this!

To take her down, Lenne's Water Thrust is a heavy hitter here. Have Glenn use Armor Break on her and unleash his Ultimate when you can. Try to inflict Bleed and Poison if possible. Other than that, focus on keeping your buffs up with Victor and staying in Overdrive. You'll be fine!

Boss Encounter: Puppeteer

Next up is the Puppeteer, and this is a fun one! It's a double boss fight against the 'Puppet' and the 'Puppeteer' itself. Both are weak to light and strong to dark attacks. Make sure to steal from both: a [_SHAMAN'S ROBE_] from the Puppet and another [_GOLD NUGGET_] from the Puppeteer.

The Puppeteer is probably the trickiest part. It can inflict 'Doom' on a character, which is an instant death after a few turns. There's no clear way to remove it, so if you don't have Robb's status effect removal ability purchased, you might just have to watch a character go. Swapping them out and reviving later is an option. The Puppeteer also uses 'Poison Wind' to poison everyone and hits the whole party with dark magic for 25-35 damage.

The Puppet has a really unique move called 'Twisting Wind'. This actually MIXES UP your Overdrive Bar, making it a mess of red and green chunks. This will totally change your action order, forcing you to adapt your strategy every other turn. The Puppet also uses 'Blinding Light' for 25-35 damage to everyone.

Honestly, 'Twisting Wind' is the main thing that makes this fight interesting. If you can buff yourself up and manage your Overdrive (staying out of the red is key!), you'll have a good time here.
