Recruit Bernd's Wife, Gimaj, Zellor, and Jack in Chained Together. Learn about base upgrades and rewards after reaching Clan Rank 4.

Bernd's Wife (?) Joins the Clan!

To recruit Bernd's Wife, first speak to her in Rockbottom. She will travel to your base to reunite with Bernd. After a brief (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) where they meet, she will officially join your clan. Her ability allows you to control crystal drops from sources, making it easier to hunt for specific types.

Gimaj the Monk Joins the Clan!

Stock up on Incocybin Berries before heading to Ograne Grotto. Travel to the waterfall area via the western screen, heading north at the path split. Descend a ladder to find Gimaj. He will join your clan and grants an ability that provides an additional SP from every battle with a 50% chance.

Zellor the Merchant Joins the Clan!

Locate Zellor, a merchant traveling with researchers, in the Flower Fields of Perpetua. He is in a camp northeast of the church on the same screen. Speak with him, and he will join your clan. All shops will now sell items at a reduced price.

Jack the Lumberjack Joins the Clan!

Find Jack the Lumberjack in Fiorwoods at the Research Camp. Speak with him, and he will join your clan. Clearing the area allows you to obtain a [_RUSTY GUN_] from a nearby chest. Recruiting Jack is the final recruit, earning you the "One of Us" Silver Trophy.

Base Upgrades and Rewards (Clan Rank 4)

After reaching Clan Rank 4, return to your Headquarters to find new items and upgrades:

• Inn: A chest on the second story contains a [_PUCKLE GUN_].
• Item Store: Four chests contain a [_LIFE THREAD_], [_KNIGHTLY SWORD_], [_PLOT ARMOR_], and a [_MYSTIC RING_].
• Hideout: A chest in the northwest, now-mined-out cave contains a [_SOUL OF FARNESE_].
• Pignon's Place: This area now displays all animals encountered.
• Fishermen: Triony will give you another [_SOUL OF FARNESE_].
