Part 82

Explore new areas in Part 82 of the Chained Together guide, including the Upper Right screen, and take on challenging Unique Monsters like Ekskalibur, Aurora the Dragon, and Da Capo.

In this section of the guide for Chained Together, we'll explore new areas and tackle some challenging Unique Monsters. You'll find CRYSTAL x3 and a chest with a SACRED WATER by taking the upper path to the right and utilizing flying to reach higher ground. Be aware of the "Black Sheep" fight that reappears in the upper right path.

Proceed north to the Upper Right screen, a new area that unlocks a rewards board panel. Here, you'll encounter vines blocking the path forward. Use the "BaiBai X" item, obtained from Goblin Village, to clear them. You'll then meet a merchant who needs help dealing with an assassin, who is revealed to be a SUPERBOSS. It is highly recommended to SAVE your game before proceeding.

New enemies called "Cobwebtadie" can be found to the right. They are weak to fire and strong to dark, and while tanky, they explode upon death, dealing significant damage. It's crucial to maintain high health during these encounters. After fighting them, head right to find chests containing ANCIENT CARCASS x6 and EMPEROR'S HIDE x6. Continue northeast for another CRYSTAL.

To the northwest, you'll find marshland with chests containing BLOODSTONE x4 and DIVINE WOOL x5. Exit southeast to find another CRYSTAL. Be aware that proceeding further in this area will trigger a fight with the "Assassin Girl," a very difficult SUPERBOSS. It is advisable to return later in the game when you are better equipped.

Notorious / Unique Monster Hunting:

Eskalibur: This turtle is found in Fiorwoods. Head to the central screen, run clockwise around a specific group of trees three times, and Ekskalibur will appear to the northeast. The fight is easy: attack him ONCE physically, then switch to magic as he becomes immune to physical damage. Mikah's "Opener" is effective, or use magical characters and focus on healing.

Aurora the Dragon: Located in Shambala, in the upper-right portion of the screen, requiring Sky Armor to reach. Aurora may not always appear, so you may need to re-enter the screen until it shows up. This fight is generally easy. Aurora uses hit-all and strong single-target attacks. Swapping weapons with your armors and having dedicated healers is recommended. Aurora is strong to dark attacks.

Da Capo: Found in the "Flower Fields of Perpetua" on the SOUTHWEST screen. Enter the northern cave to make it appear. This fight is also very easy. Use your Sky Armor, inflict status ailments like Blind and Poison, and use your best moves. Da Capo is weak to FIRE and strong to WATER. Its most notable move is "Slimey Hell," which can inflict sleep and poison.
