Learn how to conquer the Tur Dulra Stronghold in Diablo IV. This guide covers finding the stronghold, freeing spirits, and defeating the Infernal Tormentor.

Alright, so you're looking to take on the Tur Dulra Stronghold in Diablo IV? It's a level 19 Stronghold located in Scosglen, west of the Cerrigar Waypoint. Don't worry if you're a bit overleveled, it'll scale with you, but be prepared for some tougher fights if you're much higher!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Approach the Great Oak: When you get to the stronghold area, make your way to the center. You'll need to duck under some logs and head up a spiral staircase.
  2. 2
Speak to the Druid Spirit: Once you reach the center, talk to the Druid Spirit. This will kick off a cutscene and transport you into a memory where you'll need to rescue three other spirits.
  3. 3
Find the Druid Spirits: These three spirits are scattered around the stronghold. You'll need to head North to find Brighde, South for Odhran, and East for Eanan. When you get close to a spirit, you'll find it's swarmed by enemies. This is a great time to use your Area of Effect (AoE) abilities, like Blood Surge for Necromancers or Rain of Arrows for Rogues, to clear them out quickly. After you've dealt with the surrounding enemies, interact with the spirit. Be warned, it'll become aggressive and you'll need to deplete its health. It uses knockback attacks, so try to stay out of the AoE markers and keep your health topped up.
  4. 4
Return to the Great Oak: Once you've freed all three spirits, head back to the Great Oak.
  5. 5
Slay the Infernal Tormentor: Before you can officially conquer the stronghold, you'll have to face the boss, Baelgemoth, the Infernal Tormentor.
  6. 6
Rekindle the Wanderer’s Shrine: After defeating Baelgemoth, you'll be able to rekindle the Wanderer's Shrine, which will conquer the stronghold.

How to Defeat Baelgemoth, Infernal Tormentor:

This boss can hit hard, but the key is to keep your distance and only jump in for a few quick single-target attacks. Baelgemoth will summon adds throughout the fight, so use your AoE skills to take them down fast before returning your focus to the boss.

  • Swing: This is a basic melee attack with limited range. If you're keeping your distance, you should be able to avoid this easily.
  • Fire Breath: Baelgemoth will breathe fire that covers a large area and can track you. Use your dodge skill to get away and keep running in the opposite direction until it stops.
  • Disappearing Act: Sometimes, Baelgemoth will vanish and reappear right next to you, immediately performing a slash attack. Keep dodging until it reappears to avoid this.
  • Shockwave: Once you get Baelgemoth's health down to its first potion threshold, it'll start creating a mini shockwave around itself. Standing in this will push you back and deal damage.
  • 100 Scosglen Renown
  • Tur Dulra Waypoint unlocked
