Learn about Civil Abilities in Divinity: Original Sin 2, including Telekinesis, Loremaster, Sneaking, Thievery, Bartering, Persuasion, and Lucky Charm.
You start with one Civil Ability Point at 1st level and gain an additional point at 2nd level and every four subsequent levels (6, 10, 14, etc.).
Civil Abilities:
- Craftsmanship
- Telekinesis: Each point allows you to move objects up to 4m, regardless of weight. This ability can be used in combat at a cost of 1 Action Point (AP).
- Loremaster: Allows you to examine enemies for their stats and resistances in battle, and identify items outside of battle. Higher level enemies and items require higher levels in Loremaster. Item identification also requires an Identifying Glass.
- Nasty Deeds
- Sneaking: Investing in Sneaking makes it easier to move undetected. Additional investment shrinks non-player character (NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you)) sight cones and increases movement speed while sneaking.
- Thievery: Governs your ability to pick locks and pick pockets. Pickpocketing an NPC requires you to interact with them while sneaking. Thieving is limited by weight and value, with specific limits per level:
- Lvl 1: 2kg, 300G
- Lvl 2: 4kg, 450G
